The Big Draw Doodle Day at Experience Barnsley

Artists will be taking over the galleries at Experience Barnsley for The Big Draw Doodle Day and visitors are invited to come along and join in the fun. On Saturday 17 October, the gallery floor will be filled with paper ready for a mass doodling session. Families can get creative and take part in drawing games and for budding cartoonists there will be a giant cartoon strip to complete, inspired by the current Gerald Scarfe exhibition: Milk Snatcher, The Thatcher Drawings.

Create a Cardboard Co-op Shop at Experience Barnsley

Visitors to Experience Barnsley will have a great time helping artists create an interactive Co-op shop made entirely out of cardboard - lots and lots of cardboard! The event, which takes place on Saturday, 26 September between 10am and 4pm, will ignite imaginations as people create their very own superstore.

Experience Barnsley Host Alternative Night Out

Award winning museum, Experience Barnsley will be hosting a night of music and activities aimed at 11 to 18 year olds on Wednesday 23 September. The free event, which is being held in conjunction with The Immortals and Young Addaction Barnsley, promotes drug and alcohol free nights to teenagers.
