Events are subject to change or cancellation. If an event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If an event is cancelled in advance by BMBC a full refund will be offered. 

Refunds are not available on events tickets bought by mistake or due to changes in circumstance, if contacted more than 14 days before the event tickets can be swapped for another time/event or transferred. Please contact us for details

In this illustrated talk, author Dave Randall (guitarist with Faithless, Sinead O’Connor and composer for film and theatre) looks at examples from Beethoven to Beyoncé and poses the question: how can we make music serve the interests of the many, rather than the few?

Barnsley Brick Project Workshop With Artist Patrick Murphy

Bricks are all around us, yet we seldom stop to look at them or think where they came from. In the past, Barnsley had many of its own brickworks that made the bricks for many of the buildings we see around us. The names of factories and villages were stamped into the brick – this is now the only sign that many of the brickworks ever existed.
